SWERV - Pop Up Meet

A bunch of my friends were hosting pop up meets on 10/17 this year…. Of course for the obvious reasons of it being “1017” (brick squaaaaaad!!). Anyways, we decided to keep it local and head to the SWERV Pop up meet in Winter Park, FL. I don’t know what I was really expecting because the parking lot was small and the event was at a liquor store but…. to be honest? This was one of the best meets I have ever been too. The vibes were incredible and the whole feel of the meet was amazing. It felt like a Cold-New York night meet at a bodega or a corner store. Everything felt super organic and there were tons of people and a lot of really nice cars.

I didn’t get to capture as much of the event as I had originally hoped to, but I did shoot some photos and these are all my edits here. If you’re into the technical side of photography and want to know how i did it - I shot with a Canon EOS R, a Sigma 35mm Art lens, & I used a Tiffen Promist 1 filter. The Promist filter is what is used to flare the highlights and create a bit of a hazy feel to the photos; which I felt was perfect for capturing the whole Halloween vibes. I will be posting more photos & some breakdowns/help in future blog posts as well.
